As the week progressed Sunday through Wednesday, the forecast for rain and thunderstorms during our ride time increased to the point where I was strongly considering postponing this ride until Thursday, which was looking like a much better evening. I informed the group that I would make the final call at 4:00, and when checking the weather at 3:45 for that call, saw that the storm chances for southeast Michigan had dropped from 60% to nearly 0% in a matter of just hours. So goes Michigan weather, and I sent a notice to the group that the ride was ONE, as I was too excited to check what I had typed way too quickly.
